Great news! Our new Notes panel redesign now includes note resolution! See Resolving Notes for further details.

And just to add as a suggestion, even though I loved everyone's feedback, I also understand that they were a bit more complex than just a comment approval/checked as the title suggest.
A possibility to get things moving is to just do a basic version first, like a small checkmark on the bottom right of the comment (next to the other actions) and the ability to show/hide resolved comments.
After that basic implementation, you could spend a bit more time on a more advanced version.

Syncsketch has incredible capabilities but it doesn't offer something basic their biggest competitors(frame.io/wipster) offer. We just migrated our team from Wipster to Syncsketch and the basic thing that we're testing now is "Can we survive not having a way to track the adjustments that were finished"?
Our worry is because our final round of revisions include our creative director and in this specific file we might have 40-50 small notes/fixes for 3 animators. Having a way to track the completion of comments would help us a ton.

Rafael Marques de Miranda: Hi Rafael, thank you so much for your feedback. Adding the ability to "elevate" a regular comment to a task that can be assigned and approved is very high on our list. Adding a checkmark to all comments like "Great job" would create a bit too much noise. We've started working on a design and hope to have a better idea on the actual implementation in the near future.

Philip Floetotto: Hi Philip. Thanks for answering :) The idea of the checkmark wasn't for it to feel like "Great Job" but literally a "done" status. The comment should then get hidden from the comment area and from the timeline. For this to work, it would require a on/off switch to show incomplete/complete comments.
Either way, it's your software so you certainly know how to handle things better 💪

This feature sounds very useful

Excellent suggestion, how about a comment resolution field:
- Accepted (will do, blue checkmark)
- Resolved (done, green checkmark)
- Reject (won't do, red X)
- Irrelevant (greys out the comment)

Yes, checking notes off as completed, as well as a filter to approve feedback & combine duplicate notes, and be able to set notes to be general or on a different frame after a review session would be excellent

We need this feature as it gets very unclear after a while. We send a video to our customers and they review it and leave us notes. Now our artists rework those points. And here it would be great to mark comments as approved. So in combination with a filter you can directly see which feedback is implemented. At the moment it’s really bad as you can only work with this mess or delete things you have fixed but this leads to errors after a time that is for sure.
