This is a change introduced in the latest API update. Could this be a configurable option please? Changing the default with no way to change it back introduces friction in the review process, with users having to constantly accept project invite requests rather than the previous behaviour where users were active by default.

Version stacks of assets so it further condenses and saves screen real estate

When reviewing in sequence playback it would be great to be able to add a note or annotation to the shot that we're paused on. Currently we have to click on the individual shot on the item list panel on the left, add the note to the note box on the right, and then reselect the rest of the shots in the item list to continue playing in sequence.

When drag and dropping it goes in to "default". it would be great if it can be dragged directly in to the section that you are hovering over

We're already able to flip videos horizontally, it would be very helpful to be able to flip single images when reviewing and drawing.

Please release a native desktop client. I don’t know what servers you’re using, but I’ve already watched a 4K TED Talk on YouTube while the clip I uploaded still hasn’t loaded—not even the first frame. Sometimes it does load, but after only a short while it gets stuck on “refreshing.” The amount of time this wastes is measured in hours. I genuinely don’t understand why your service has to exist only in a web-based form. It is seriously delaying project progress.

Master Playlist/Link that contain multiple playlists. We are looking for a way to manage individual playlists but the UI displays them all within one Master Link. Similar to groupings and folders but with more control and use of the features you get within playlists. We are finding our team wants to hold all reviews/dailies within one Master Playlist for the below reasons: quickly reference previous notes / versions always have reference files available organize by days Share one master link for each step vs. daily links (simplifying communication) This workflow has become overwhelming as it is causing the following issues: unable to archive folders/files within the playlist massive lagging when playlist contain too many files dragging files/groups into order so groups are organized by date is cumbersome. adding new files to the playlist (default to 'default section' and need to organize into "dated folder" is tough on the fly) disables the use of Shotgrid/Flow integration. Something like this would be so incredible helpful!

Hey - we are considering switching to a different software because we're not able to gamma up/adjust exposure levels. We'd love to stay with SyncSketch - it there any ETC to this feature being added? According to this feature board it was on the roadmap back in 2021.... Thanks, Sarah

The side-by-side and a/b compare modes are excellent for comparing clips. As most clips are oriented horizontally, however, top-to-bottom mode is typically more useful for comparing two clips on standard monitor types.
