SyncSketch User Feedback

It would be helpful to have access to the new sections feature using the python api, for cases where a user may want to programmatically generate a syncsketch playlist with sections

Allow Custom Approval Statuses beyond Approved/Reviewed/In Progress/On Hold... just being able to pick a custom status color would be very helpful to denote specific things in our pipeline.

Importing the "Item notes" from SyncSketch's .csv files into Excel still doesn't work properly. The columns are not created correctly by default, because it doesn't know the delimiter to use. This is easily fixed by adding "sep=<delimeter>" in the first line of the file and Excel correctly creates the columns. sep=, COLUMN1,COLUMN2 data1,data2 ...

Currently most of the exposed python calls return the whole instance of an object with all the data included, e.g. get get_reviews_by_project_id, while one can specify the return fields via the "fields" key inside the _get_json_response call getData dictionary. Already speed-wise it makes sense to reduce the DB requests to fetch only what is needed, so an optional parameter to define return fields is a reasonable request. You can just pass on the list to the underlying getData parameter, maybe enforce that the ID is always present and ignore non-existing keys. That would be perfect to have already built-in instead of us using the protected/hidden _get_json_response call directly. Seems like a simple fix, which would also reduce console spamming when doing command line maintenance besides optimising script requests.

Currently there doesn't seem to be a good way to tell if something is new or unseen. For example, the way in Slack, a channel name will be in bold text if there are new message that you haven't read. If there is also a message tagged specifically for your user/client, the channel will have both bold text and a red dot to indicate not only are there new posts, but there are also new posts pertaining specifically to you or that you are tagged in. It would be great if SyncSketch had some way to indicate to users that there is a new posts, comments, updates that you haven't seen before. At the moment, it is very difficult to tell where to find the newest stuff that needs to be reviewed.

Sometimes the clip is longer than usual. And notes can make the timeline crowded. I’ve been missing for a while now a way to zoom in the timeline (like all 3d or 2d softwares have) and view the frames just overall better and easier without squinting my eyes.

When flipping between clips in a review, we'd like the In and Out points that are set for each clip to be retained. They currently clear when you change clips.

Hello everyone :) Would be great to have an additional default group filter (like the "Any Label") but dedicated to filter any review that has NOT a group assigned yet...in the attached image I named the groups label just as an example so I would love to see something like "unassigned" "no label" "no group" as additional choice It happen in production when you have hundreds and hundreds of reviews that some of them are created without a specific group or a group being removed from a review by error and it's very time consuming to find them back by scrollling thanks in advance! have a great day, Davide

Hello, Could you add a admin level soft quota for a project. with the idea that when a new review is created or sync'd to syncsketch it shows a warning to the person letting them know they are close to the projects quota and will need to clean up some space. Thanks kym
