New/Unseen Post Indicator

Currently there doesn't seem to be a good way to tell if something is new or unseen. For example, the way in Slack, a channel name will be in bold text if there are new message that you haven't read. If there is also a message tagged specifically for your user/client, the channel will have both bold text and a red dot to indicate not only are there new posts, but there are also new posts pertaining specifically to you or that you are tagged in.
It would be great if SyncSketch had some way to indicate to users that there is a new posts, comments, updates that you haven't seen before. At the moment, it is very difficult to tell where to find the newest stuff that needs to be reviewed.

If your account is on a tier that can have approval statuses, these can be used effectively for this. The colored ring around the item count for a review in the Project Overview can be that indicator. For example if an item has the status "For Review" there will be a lavender segment in the ring. (Gaps in the ring indicate that there are items without a status set; when there's no ring, none of the items have statuses set.)
In the example below, there is one item that has no status set, one item that has been approved, and three items marked For Review.
I understand this requires a little workflow discipline by the participants (a little less when using automated pipelines that use our API), and that your request would be less error-prone. But until that can be implemented, this is a method that works (and has other benefits) and is in use by our users.
Also, you can set notifications so that you will be notified via email when something has been added or feedback has been given. And if you're on an Enterprise or Education Plus account, you can use our Webhooks feature to issue notifications to whatever system you want.
Webhooks (or a link to more info) appear in the account's Settings > Webhooks section, and there is an example implementation here:
