Sort Order Integration from SG

Have the option to maintain the sort order established in shotgrid. Or have the option to sort the playlist by a specific shotgrid field.

Hi all,
I'd like to share what I learned recently. SyncSketch does indeed read a sort order from Shotgrid, from a field named sg_sort_order. This is not to be confused with sorting your playlists visually in Shotgrid.
The field in Shotgrid is called "Sort Order". You should be able to see the value by doing the following:
- Open the Playlist in Shotgrid and go to the Versions tab
- Click the Fields drop-down, then under "PLAYLIST-SPECIFIC FIELDS" select "Sort Order" to add the field to the table
- This should add the field under the thumbnail (or adds a column in list view). If it's blank, that means no sort order has been set for the playlist items yet.
- To set the sort order, you can edit the field directly.
Alternatively, you can use the Media section of Shotgrid to set sort order. This post in ShotGrid's support community explains how to set Sort Order from the Media section: https://community.shotgridsoftware.com/t/versions-sorting-in-client-review-site/7911/2
Hope that helps!

Hi, is there any updates on this fix ? It's taking a lot of our production managers times to reorder all the assets in a playlist.
